Our Horses
The horses are the most important members of our program. We currently have three domestic horses and five mustangs who were previously wild and captured by the Federal Bureau of Land Management.
Each displays a different level of sensitivity and comfort with being handled by humans, and therefore serves our program in different ways.

Help Them Heal
We operate Restoring Peace Through Horse-manship with efficient and frugal practices. Horses live outside 24/7, where they enjoy as natural an environment as we can provide. All have access to shelter if they choose
to use it. They live in grassy fields that we supplement with nutrient-dense rations and hay (in winter), per individual needs. They receive regular veterinary visits, farrier care, and anything extra they need to live happy horse lives.
